rubiscape is an innovative data science platform which is a one-stop solution to all your data analysis and forecasting requirements. Whatever be the stage of your data analytical cycle, the rubiscape platform surely has a product to fulfill your requirement.

rubiscape is a web-based application. No installation is required. You can start using the application by signing in from a web browser.

Signing into the Application

To sign in to the application, follow the steps given below.

  1. Enter the rubiscape URL in your web browser.

    The rubiscape sign-in page is displayed.

  2. Enter the provided Username and Password.

  3. Click Sign In.

Resetting the Password

In case you forget the password, you can reset your password with a new one.
To reset your password, follow the steps given below.

  1. On the login page, click Forgot password? below the password field.

    Forgot Password dialog box is displayed.

  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.

  3. Click Send Reset Link.

    A message confirming that a link is sent via email to reset your password is displayed.

  4. Go to your email account and open the auto-generated email received in your inbox.

  5. Click the link to reset your password.

    You are redirected to the rubiscape reset password page.

  6. Enter a new password in the Reset Password field.

  7. Re-enter the same password in the Confirm reset password field.

  8. Click Reset Password.

The rubiscape home page is displayed. Your home page is the default workspace assigned to you as a user.

Notes:

  • The password should be between 6 to 15 characters long.

  • Make sure that the password is strong enough. DO NOT share the password with anyone. This will ensure the confidentiality of your data.

  • Make sure to read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy carefully before signing in.

  • Select REMEMBER ME checkbox if you want to access rubiscape without entering the password, the next time you sign in.



Understanding the Application Home Page

Your home page is the default workspace assigned to you as a user.

The home page has three panes and a quick tour icon as given below.

  1. Title pane: This pane displays options to go to home page and change workspace. It also displays options to search globally, go to online help, and switch applications.

  2. Widgets pane: This pane displays the widgets that you can add from any dashboard.

  3. Display pane: This pane displays the list of workflows, workbooks, dashboards, datasets, and projects available in the selected workspace.

  4. Create Icon: This icon takes you to the quick tour page where you can see and navigate directly to the various rubiscape products.

Partial names are also allowed in the Search field.

Help icon

It takes you to the online help file in a new browser.


Applications icon

It takes you to the following options.

  • Administrator

  • News Analysis

  • You can switch between Admin module and rubiscape from this icon.

  • News Analysis is a rubiscape application.

Profile icon

It helps you to manage the settings of your account and also log out from the application.

At a glance


It displays the widgets that you can add from any dashboard.

You can add any important widgets from dashboard.

List View icon

It displays the workflows, workbooks, dashboards, datasets, and projects in a list view.

You can mark an item as favorite. You can also view, run, or delete them from this view.
In case of dataset, you can explore, export, edit, or delete it.

Card View icon

It displays the workflows, workbooks, dashboards, datasets, and projects in a card view.

You can mark an item as favorite. You can also view, run, or delete them from this view.
In case of datasets, you can explore, export, edit, or delete them.

Sort drop-down list

It helps you to sort the displayed workbooks, workflows, dashboards, datasets, and projects.

Recent: It sorts the items according to the most recent content created.
Alphabetical: It sorts the items according to the alphabetical order.

Search field

It helps you search workbooks, workflows, dashboards, datasets, and projects.

To search, type the text in the Search field (partial text is also allowed).

Create icon

It helps you to create,

  • Workbook

  • Workflow

  • Dashboard

  • Dataset

Changing Workspace

A workspace is a place where you can manage multiple datasets and projects. Workspaces are the parent structures that include datasets and projects. Workspaces are mapped to the login, which means you may have limited access to specific workspaces as defined by your administrator.
Users can select any workspace, in which they want to work, directly from the home page.

Notes:

  • A workspace can be created only by the administrator and NOT by the user.

  • Users can only perform tasks on the workspace assigned to them, by the administrator.

  • User cannot modify or delete a workspace. This can be done only by the administrator.

To change a Workspace, follow the steps given below.

  1. On the title pane, click the Workspace Name ( ).
    The Change workspace page is displayed.

  2. In the drop-down list, type the name of a workspace in the Search field.

    You can also scroll down the list of workspaces to select the desired workspace.

  3. Click Change.

Logging Out of the Application

To log out from rubiscape, follow the steps given below:

  1. On the title pane, click the user icon ( ).

  2. Click Log out.
